Why it matters?

Traditional infrastructural setups manage the initial implementation of new applications but struggle with scaling and reusing due to complex connections and architectural limitations. This hampers adapting to new data sources and impacts the comparability of data across processes, as well as the annotation and cross-usage of data for analysis. Project Outline

1. Bilateral: Kick-Off Workshop

First, we will have an individual workshop together with you to evaluate your current goals and challenges regarding data management practices and IT infrastructure. Based on this, we will design individualized journeys for your data layer implementation.

2. Cross-Industry: 1-Day Training & Workshop

We will conduct a 1-day workshop with all participants on data management practices, covering organizational governance topics about  data-centric use cases, requirement and stakeholder management, scalability, industry standards, protocols, and more, with dedicated time for best practice exchange within the group.

3a. Bilateral: Concept Development Meetings

Next, we will work together with you on the organizational readiness for a standardized, scalable, unified data architecture implementation by scouting and selecting the right solution providers and designing standardized data models according to the defined journey. This step is crucial to ensure the success of your use cases and to benefit from our approach to the implementation of a unified data layer.

3b. Cross-Industry: Definition of Pilot & Implemention

Simultaneously, together with our other partners, we will define a use case application to implement with one of our partners. Together, we will select and prioritize this application to evaluate how different data management approaches impact the scalability of the application when multiple solution providers are involved. This hands-on approach will allow us to identify potential challenges early on and develop effective strategies to overcome them.

4. Bilateral: Final Presentation

We will conduct a final presentation to share and summarize the results, key findings, and recommendations with your organization in a large group setting.

Participation in the project is open to medium and large companies from the industrial domain.
