Using AI to tackle supply chain shortages
Corona.KEX.net - an AI flagship project
Corona.KEX.net was initiated as an AI flagship project at the beginning of the corona pandemic 2020 with the support of the Ministry of Economics, Industry, Climate Protection, and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
As a result of in-depth research and development work, together with partners such as Fraunhofer and the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences and Arts, we were able to develop a novel AI-based early warning system for medical supply.
Our tool makes it possible to forecast demands, to detect shortages in the supply and value chain at an early stage, and to semi-automate the verification of the authenticity of certificates from a wide range of suppliers.
