Digital Transformation Check-Up
New momentum for your digital journey!
More than 10 years after the term “Industry 4.0” was coined, many still miss the promised transformational value. We want to boost your digital transformation program with new, value-creating momentum.
Join our “Digital Transformation Check-Up" now!
What you get
- On-site workshop to identify and describe the key challenges in your digital transformation program
- Joint prioritization of key action fields to focus your resources based on our Digital Transformation Navigator that has been used in practice many times
- Preparation of communication materials and joint presentation to your key stakeholders to bring everyone on the same page and create new momentum
- Impulses for good practices and learnings from the industry during our on-site workshop based on topics that you define, for example:
- How to define and organize lighthouse projects and assign them to your factory network?
- What is an “I4.0-ready” IT-architecture that allows standardization and scaling of use cases across sites?
- How to evaluate the economic impact of I4.0 and interdependencies between projects?
- How to approach a business case for I4.0 projects with uncertainty of success and measure their progress?
- Exchange with experts during our INC community events.
Why it matters?
Many companies have initiated digital transformation projects, established new organizational structures & teams, and started to develop a digital culture.
However, we often observe technology-centered digital roadmaps and isolated pilot projects focused on local improvements within individual lines or factories. This approach frequently results in a "zoo" of incompatible solutions, rather than end-to-end optimizations aligned with strategic KPIs.

Our co-operation with INC has had a clear positive impact on our organization and has enabled a shift in mindset to work with digital data, as well as establish system architectures to capture and orchestrate the data for analytic purposes.

Project Outline
1. Digital Kick-Off & Questionnaire
We start with a digital kick-off to introduce the project partners, the involved departments and current topics in the context of your digital transformation program.
Subsequently, you receive a questionnaire to be answered with your core team (ideally 2-3 perspectives), e.g., about goals with I4.0, perceived challenges, and relevant focus topics based on the structure of our Digital Transformation Navigator.
2. Digital Workshop
We discuss your answers of the questionnaire in a digital workshop and together define your relevant focus topics for our impulses during the on-site workshop.
3. On-Site Workshop
During the following on-site workshop (2x 0,5 days), we dive deeper into the six fields of the Digital Transformation Navigator with you and the core team. Together, we synthesize and describe your key challenges and derive key action fields that efficiently focus your resources and next steps in your digital roadmap. During the second day, we will give you targeted impulses on good practices and “How to‘s“ from the industry for the topics we have defined together in our previous sessions.
4. Final Presentation
The project concludes with tailored materials for targeted communication to your key stakeholders and a final presentation to align everyone and generate new momentum for your digital transformation.
Target group
This project is open to companies from all manufacturing industries. It targets decision-makers and team leaders responsible for digital transformation in a central role, across multiple national or international sites and ideally with an interface to production and IT. We suggest involving 2-3 colleagues to integrate diverse perspectives.
Benefit from our experience
Our Industry 4.0 experts have supported companies to develop digital roadmaps, define technical use-cases or establish overarching digital transformation programs across national or international factory networks since the term Industry 4.0 came up. We now look forward to supporting you in your journey.
